Yesterday evening it decided to snow! Living where I do, this is a very rare occurrence. Me and one of my dogs, Nell, decided to venture out ans have some fun in it! My other dog, Lilly. decided the whole this was below her as she usually does! Nell got a bit over excited and started running round like a crazy person whilst I tied to take some photos. In the end we went back inside very wet and very cold!

New Camera and 100 Happy Days

I got a new camera a couple of weeks back and I'm absolutely in love with it. I was after a more compact camera for the days when I don't want to carry around my massive DSLR and I found the Sony a5100. It has all the features of s DSLR whilst being lightweight and compact. It's perfect for carrying around in your bag in case inspiration hits whilst your out and about and the the flip screen makes selfies easy ;)

As a celebration for having the self-control to save for a new camera I am going to partake in the 100 happy days challenge! I know this was popular last year but I didn't take part in it and I'm looking forward to starting it! you can follow this either through my Instagram jessclarkee_, my Pinterest jessclarkeee or right here on my blog as I'll be adding a new page especially for it once I've managed to get it to work!

A Trip to the Toon

A few weeks ago I went on a trip to Newcastle to go and see a couple of friends who are living there whilst they are at university. It was so good to see them even though it hadn't been long since they had left home. It's funny how much you miss people when you go from seeing them every single day at sixth form to hardly seeing them at all. 

I was surprised by Newcastle if I am honest. I'd never been before and I held this view of it, shamefully taken from the crime drama Vera and other TV programmes, that it was a horribly dull place with nothing to do apart from party. Oh, how wrong was I. It's so vibrant and there is so much to do. My friends took my to the Baltic, the markets (which I can tell you are pretty fab. Not like the ones back home), the city centre of course and their uni, which I like so much I've even applied there myself! 

My friend took pretty much all these photos for me so all credit goes to her!

An Apology...

I am afraid I must apologise for my lack of posts for almost THREE MONTHS!! How time flies...
I have been so so busy with work and studying and UCAS and visiting friends at uni I have hardly had any time to myself until now! I promise I shall try kick-start my blog again (hopefully pretty soon) I have so many ideas for new content which you should be seeing appear with in the next few weeks/months!

Once again I apologise for the lack of content recently...
