The other day I received a parcel from my new favourite website notonthehighstreet.com. I had never bought anything from here previously so I was slightly wary when it arrived. My order contained two things; A bracelet and a candle. These are both presents for my friends 18th birthday which added to my anxiety over the quality of the products. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived to discover they were far better than I had imagined they would be!
The candle comes from a company named The Country Candle Company and smells absolutely delightful. It came in a really sweet, little box which will make my life a lot easier when it comes to wrapping it up! It cost me £6.99 which was cheaper than I thought it would be and it certainly looks like it should be worth more as it is beautifully finished and is bigger than it looks in the photos. The candles had the option to be personalised with any letter of the alphabet, numbers 0-9, an & symbol or a heart motif which would make it easy to send a message to someone or simply add a more personal touch. The reviews for the product were highly positive with many people saying it was perfect for what they wanted and made a lovely gift which inspired me to give it as gift myself.
The bracelet came from a company named Love the Links and has the quote "Good friends are like stardust...a little sprinkle goes a long way..." written along it. There was the option to choose from a variety of quotes but I thought this one was rather sweet. I chose to order a ribbon tied box to go with it for an extra 99p as I am giving the bracelet as a gift and I am very happy with it. The bracelet is silver plated and cost £13.95 and is well worth it because the quality of the appearance is very high. Again, the reviews stated how perfect it is for a gift and the recipients always liked it. I think this bracelet is very pretty indeed!
The delivery of both products was very fast and a lot quicker than I had expected it to be, I am more than satisfied with the service I received! I would defiantly recommended notonthehighstreet.com if you are struggling for a gift for someone as they have something for everyone and everything is defiantly worth the money.
